Rock Rimmon – Rock Climb

26 peeps + 1 dog + 9 routes = FUN and a mellow day of climbing!! Forget we are at an urban crag trashed with broken glass, beer cans, television sets, paper and an assortment of what-have-you!  I set up the Sunday Climb at Rock Rimmon meetup so all levels can enjoy climbing! Our group set up ropes on 9 routes and everyone got a chance to climb whatever they wanted! To come out climbing with us, join The NH Rock Climbing Meetup Group! 1. Tippy Toe Slabs 2. Rock-Solid Faith: Climbing Goes Beyond Physical Skills By Liz Markhlevskaya Tuesday, November 5, 2013 BARRINGTON — Hanging on the side of a cliff at Stonehouse Pond, I was clenching on for dear life. Rock Rimmon – Rock Climbing

S pent several hours climbing Rock Rimmon today. A bit muggy and the ground is trashed with broken glass and litter. But the rock is so good here - easy on the fingers and hands, and I love to climb it! Took some photos with my iPhone…..sorry for the blurries!

Rumney Midweek Rock Climbing

Kellie got a group out to rock climb at Rumney Rocks during the midweek. It was so much more less crowded than the weekend, but nonetheless, still busy! I handed my camera over to Brit and she took most of the photos while I got to climb! Me on Dung Beetle! Access Fund Conservation Team was in town to help the Rumney Climbing Association improve Rumney's trails!

The Ledges at Lake Massabesic - Rock Climbing

Forget Black Friday shopping, and go rock climbing! Well, heck yeah!  Like last weekend, Kellie listed this meetup on her NHRock Climbing Meetup group . And like last weekends' climbing cliff, this cliff and its routes aren't listed in any guidebook.  But the climbing, especially on a warm November day, is fantastic! We all met at the Auburn, NH Dunkin' Donuts on Rt 28 just short of the rotary. From there, it was a short 1.2 miles along Lake Massabesic to the roadside parking lot. A relatively short hike in from the parking lot, we followed the trail between the lake's edge and Fire Road 55. This cliff is referred to as "The Ledges" which can be seen from Battery Point of the Massabesic Audubon Center and Wildlife Sanctu ary . At the base of the  cliff is a large boulder painted as a white mouse. We set up ropes on 5 routes and all 11 of us were able to climb until sunset!
